Cesc-Pests Barcelona Finally Get a Warning

The Catalans continued to lay siege to Fortress Emirates, throwing all they could at Arsenal.

A simpering mid-interview plea from Xavi for Cesc to come and play alongside him; a reassurance to the Barcelona supporters from Joan Laporta that a bid was being prepared; a pointless Belarussian signing whose footballing services wouldn't be required, but whose close acquiantance with the playmaker could be exploited. They had every media tool available to them, and they refused to stop until they got what they wanted.

They were pressing closer now, the greasy-feathered vultures circling ever tighter. Tomas Rosicky was sobbing in a corner, Robin van Persie's new pacemaker was struggling to keep time, and Johan Djourou was trying his best to explain to Philippe Senderos what was going on.

Just when it looked like the Catalans were on the brink of smashing their way through the North Entrance, they were blinded by a dazzling light. They backed away from the doors, either shielding their eyes or diving to the ground in the vain hope of encouraging some form of punishment.

It was Peter Hill-Wood, who had emerged from the safety of the directors' box to intervene.

"I am really p****d off with Barcelona and all that nonsense," he declared.

Yes, that's right, we were finally standing up to Barcelona. The Daily Star has a record of the whole thing, minus the bits I made up.

"Cesc is on a very good, long-term contract and I don't think he has any intention of not honouring it."

Laporta was stunned. What was this word, 'honouring'?

"It is not the first time they have done this and it is a most disrespectful and tiresome thing to do. You would think there would be some action you could take against them, but I suppose you cannot stop the man shooting his mouth off. Our position, and I think Cesc's position, is very steadfast. He has been with us for seven years and there is no reason he should want to up sticks."

Steadfast? But surely Barcelona could bully him into changing his mind?

"From everything we hear he is very settled. He has a long-term contract and I see absolutely no reason why it shouldn't continue."

No reason? Laporta didn't understand. It wasn't as if Barcelona had completely overlooked him as a youngster, as if they lacked the foresight to notice his prodigious talent and do what was necessary to make him choose to stay. More importantly, how could Fabregas be settled in London - surely a Catalan could only be happy in the nationalist hotbed of FC Barcelona?

Perplexed, Laporta and his minions retreated. They had lost this battle; however, they hadn't lost the war. They'd be back soon with another desperate ploy for Cesc.

ohh shut up please u poachers.. u dint make Fabregas the way he is now.. he was trained to play like this and Arsenal's style of playing is a result of what Fabregas has given to the club.. hence explaining the way they try their best to play the Barca-style; but in vain.. u bought Fabregas and gave him wat? 1 FA cup? is that all? let him fulfill his desire to play next to San Andres and Xavi.. anyone can talk about transfers... u wold never feel what Barca feels bcoz u steal kids from top teams.. u guys cannot make 1 and hence u wont understand that feeling..

Cesc = Arsenal said...

An idiot seems to have got hold of this link.

'sash': Fabregas left Barcelona because he didn't want to be one of the dozens of talented young players dropped by their soulless academy every year. He went to a team which has a culture of developing young players, which has given him the chance to achieve his potential. He knows that Barcelona would never have given him the chance, and Barcelona know that they have to avoid making a mistake like that again, which is why they're now cramming their team with youngsters.

typical english arsenal fans. 'arsenal made cesc'. hahahaha wake up. the spanish law doesn't allow clubs to tie under 16 players to (long-term) contracts so we had no choice but to let him go. laporta even asked cesc to stay but rich english fucktard faggots with their money convinced him to go. fortunately the fifa is starting to fuck england up the ass and they can't buy so many young foreigners any more. cesc is gonna come to barca in the next 2 years. arsenal won't win anything and he'll get tired of repeating the board's excuses. henry said he left arsenal to win titles and what happened? he got 6 only in one year.

btw: where did you get merida from? oh right he's from the 'soulless' barca academy as well.

"god" is a bit of a knob. i doubt cesc would go to barca in two years if their fans are gonna call him a money-grabber.

Satan, apparently said...

What is it with Barcelona and Real Madrid fans and not understanding football?

Yes, I just put you in the same bracket.

I find it kind of sad that a fairly clever, light-hearted post like this should provoke replies so completely devoid of wit. Well done, funny stuff.
As for the Barcelona fans, smarten up or stick to your own websites!

We should stop doing business with clubs that acts like Barca or Real. Its like watching spoiled kids crying and crying forever until they get what they want. When they get it they usually get tired of it pretty fast, throw it away and starts crying for something else.

And how hard is it to win a title in spain with one of those teams? The EPL is the hardest and most popular league in the world by far. When Henry looks back at hes carreer i bet he would regret leaving Arsenal, and those titles won't mean anything except for the one CL title.

Norwegian gooner

yep the epl is the best league. it is clearly seen how well the non-top 4 teams perform in europe. they are just unbeatable. hahahahaha

btw it wouldn't be the most popular if it hadn't been for british imperialism. if india didn't speak english they wouldn't give a flying fuck about the epl.

the funniest thing for me is that arsenal buys players which they know won't stay there. after next year arshavin will go to barca because henry is gonna be done. cesc too. nasri will go to some other big club.

i actually like wenger. it's just sad that some players underperform or just suck (almunya).

Cesc-pests -- excellent! Maybe if we keep calling them that they'll bugger off.

arsenals style of football under wenger is the best in the world! with a budget about 1/10th of barcas/madrids/chelseas etc we manage to play amazing passing game and costs a lot less than laporta (the tossers) teams..!
even with 10 players in the CL final we outplayed and outpassed barca!! we only lost due to fatigue of most of the game with 10 men..

barca like madrid have no class. they are a bunch of racists ( as their former national coach was caught makin comments about henry)
barcas chairman laporta, xavi etc all cry babies talkin about fabregas...FIFA should fine them for trying to tap up arsenals players!
dirty c*nts did the same with henry!
Remember your best player = Messi and where was he from??? poached from argentina!!

Luckily Wenger and the arsenal team have to much respect to go down the same dirty path as barca...
Cesc = arsenal until we decide to cash in on him! Hopefully a few titles will occur on the way!
BTW English league is much more exciting than Spain - noone wants to learn your language! cos english rules

i dont care if fabregas is going to barca tomorrow or next year or never, n doesn't matter what u call the english way of saying "we made the player" but the f*cking fact is he has been in arsenal since 2003 n he is playing at the top level....n in this world we dont have opportunity to think about what 'could' or 'would' have happened if he was in barca or not...so barca fans go n f*ck urselves or ur girl friends n stop jacking-off to the fact dat fabregas is barcas, cuz last time i checked the team sheets, he was at ARSENAL

bla bla said...

the last time i checked i saw that there are only 2 english players in arsenal's squad. i'm not gonna say more about 'poaching'.

barca never says that they need cesc. they say that they know he's gonna come back. a team that has 3 players in the top 5 best players, 2 of which are midfielders doesn't need to 'whine'.

ohh please.. im lot better than u anons.. dont have the balls to reveal ur name too.. so just shut the fcuk up and grow some balls.. please do not speak about Messi.. all u illiterates, please go to wiki and search for Lionel Messi and see what Barca has done for him.. did any of u illiterates know that Messi had a growth defiency and that he was told by the doctor that he would not grow more than 4 feet? no club in Argentina wanted to spend that much money on him... Barca spend so much on him, caring him, nurturing him and making him the player he is now.. so all u bloody 'wannabes', just stfu.. who is the best player Arsenal has got who was produced at their own academy and not poached from some club? thats right, its 0.. fcuk urselves u losers.. go get a title and then talk.. total losers..

sash said...

Henry must have been thanking his Gods for moving to Barca.. he won all the titles that are in the offering with Barca, not Arsenal.. BARCA.. so shut up u losers.. ha hah ha ha ...

@ Vik

You're right Vik. Arsenal's style of football is the best in the world that's exactly why Arsenal has won only one MINOR trophy in 7 years.

If Wenger didn't poach young talents from other clubs Arsenal would not use only 1/10 of the money Barca/Madrid/Chelsea use.

And to answer your questions.

Yes Barca fans remember where Messi is from. He's from Argentina, brought in Barcelona's Academy at the age of 12 AT THE REQUEST OF HIS PARENTS! He was at Barca long before anyone could tell if he was going to be a world class player or only a midget.

By the way who is Arsenal's best player? Where was he from??? What was the last time your best player was English??

P.S.

I'm pretty sure Henry is happy with his choice to leave Arsenal for Barca. He'd need to play until he is 50 to win the CL with Arsenal while he won it in his second year with Barca.

Henry went to Spain because his marriage was going down the pan and he had to just get away from England. It must be on you tube Just check his fairwell speech to the Arsenal fans. He said that he will ALWAYS be a Gooner, the club is in his blood. He even has Arsenal T.V and watches it all the time. He even watches the reserve team games.Sadly, that electric pace he once had is gone and he looks half the player he was at The Arsenal! Again...Arsene Wenger knows when the time is right to move on players. I.E. Vieira, Pires, Hleb, Overmars, Petit, Van Bronkhorst, Sylvinho, Ljungberg, etc etc etc. Also... How many times do Barcelona and Real Madrid use thier own local papers to try and unsettle players, plus our own manager Arsene Wenger!! You lot do not like to take NO for an answer. Wenger was offered The Madrid job this past summer, with a 200 million budget to play with, but he is an honorable man who is under contract to Arsenal and has NEVER broken a contract in his life! The "Big 2" in Spain should take a leaf out of Arsene Wengers book.Integrity.. You either have it or you don't. You lot have probably never heard of it! How dull it must be in Spain. A bit like Scotland. Only 2 teams with a realistic chance of winning thier domestic league! Yawn! Sack the manager if you do not win the chanpionship! No loyalty from your Laportas and whoever runs Madrid at the moment. Empty promises about signing whoever is making the headlines at the time. Why not try and get Rafa from Liverpool? After all, he IS UNDER CONTRACT, so that gives you a big thumbs up as contracts mean nothing to the arrogant Catalans..oops, i mean Spanish.
