English Premier League side, Arsenal FC have come under serious criticisms based on recent performances.
Head coach, Arsene Wenger, is at the core of the heat with fans protesting as they say they want a change at the Emirates. He admitted that he expected the protests the fans have been making during their games.
“I thought the whole stadium would be white (with posters).
“One target is to keep 100% of people happy. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do that this season,” Wenger said.
However, the coach led the Gunners to slim victory over Norwich that sent them to third position, above Manchester City.
After fifth-placed Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against leaders Leicester City, The Gunners need just two more points to secure an 18th consecutive year of Champions League football next season. During the game against Norwich, a minority of supporters made their feelings known in the 12th and 78th minutes of the match reminding the filled stadium of their EPL title drought.
The others backed the team and the manager, who had earlier claimed his commitment to the Gunners had helped the club secure the loans required to finance the building of the Emirates.
