Arsene Wenger has an abundance of offensive players in his squad of Arsenal but the same thing cannot be said for other positions in the team with the center of the pitch lacking a defensive midfielder.  Mathieu Flamini and MikelArteta are reaching an age where it’s time to consider looking around for other players in the transfer market that can solve some of the problems that Arsenal has been displaying in this season.

Jack Wilshere is a top class central midfielder who can also perform as a defensive player in the pitch but the Welsh has been troubled with injuries and now rumors are claiming that Christoph Kramer of Bayer Leverkusen.

Christoph Kramer is a young player who is making waves in Germany for his performances but making a move for Kramer will cost Arsenal around £20million to sign him.

At the age of 23, Kramer has already lifted the World Cup title as the youngster performer for Germany in the finals when playing against Argentina but it was only for a few minutes as he had to be removed from the pitch due to an injury that he sustained but he does have enough experience playing in the big stage and would not be so pressured if he indeed makes a move to Arsenal or another top club.

Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira is one of the top priorities of Arsene Wenger in the midfield department of Arsenal but the veteran player could be a harder target to sign as there are many other clubs that are interested in signing Khedira in the January transfer window or when his contract with Real Madrid expires in a few months’ time.

Chelsea and Manchester United have revealed their interest in signing Sami Khedira and Arsenal would have a very difficult time trying to sign the German midfielder if those other clubs make a big offer for him.
