North London club, Arsenal have been singled out of the options Roberto Firmino will have should he choose to activate his release clause from Liverpool. Football Leaks claims that a dubious clause was drawn over Firmino’s contract, explicitly stating that any other club but the Gunners can activate the Brazilian’s transfer.

This obviously seems to be the product of bad blood between both clubs that occurred in the summer of 2013. Arsenal, acting on a tip off on Luis Suarez’s situation at that time, offered the Merseyside club a bizarre £40 million and an additional £1. According to anonymous sources Arsenal added £1 after because they were told Liverpool will only consider bids above £40 million. Continue reading FIRMINO OUT OF ARSENAL’S REACH

Is YayaSanogo on the way out of Arsenal?

YayaSanogo originally signed a contract with Arsenal on July of 2013 as the French attacker completed his move from Auxerre to the Premier League club. Unfortunately for the 23 year old player, he has not been able to make an impact with the English club and he is rumored to be on his way out of the English outfit.

The French striker has been offloaded to Crystal Palace, Ajax and Charlton Athletic and now that he has returned to the Emirates Stadium, Sanogo has not been able to snatch a single competitive appearance for Arsenal in this current season.

There are rumors emerging that have been linking YayaSanogo with a move to the French club Saint-Etienne as they are believed to be interested in signing the player that is struggling to snatch a consistent starting spot in the Premier League club. Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has confirmed the addition of two players to the squad this summer.

SampNews24 reveal that one of the top reasons that delayed the deal of long term target Shkodran Mustafi. The German was supposed to have arrived at the Emirates earlier, but a lengthy transfer holdup delayed the move. The news report claims one of the top reasons was the ten percent share Mustafi’s club were going to pay Sampdoria.

When Sampdoria allowed the transfer of the World Cup winner to Valencia, they added a clause that required they received a share from his eventual deal. The Italian club would earn at least £3.5 million from the £35 million the North London club paid for Mustafi. The singing along with the yet-to-be-announced deal for Lucas Perez gives the Arsenal squad a boost, even as Wenger has defended his moves were not to appease fans.

On one Arsenal squad, there could be Cech in goal, Koscielny and Mustafi in central defence, Bellerin and Monreal at the sides. Summer marquee signing Granit Xhaka could play front of the defender, with Cazorla, Ramsey and Ozil in the middle, Alexis and Perez could appear in front. However, in another combination, Ospina could start, Rob Holding could pair with Chambers, Gibbs and Jerkinson at the back. Elneny and Coquelin could play in front of the backline. Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshere and Walcott could play behind an Olivier Giroud leading the attack.

Fabregas grateful to Wenger

Former Arsenal midfielder and current Chelsea player Cesc Fabregas stated that he will always be grateful to Arsene Wenger.

He said that the French manager was a second father to him and that he was instrumental in his career.

He stated that he became the player he was thanks to Arsene Wenger’s approach and that he will always remember him as a manager. The Arsenal manager put his trust in the Spaniard when the latter was only a teenager and handed him his first start in the Arsenal team at the age of 16.

Cesc Fabregas said that he had known many managers during his career, and it was probably Arsene Wenger that was the most important one. He stated that he was the one that gave him the first chance as a footballer. He said that from this time on it is up to the player to prove himself but it is important for a manager to trust you as a young player.

Fabregas said that Arsene Wenger was always behind him and that he supported him when things were difficult on the pitch. He stated that the French manager was always there giving him suggestions on how to improve himself not only as a player but also as a person. He said that he was like a second father to him and that there are not many managers that will do this for their players, especially in today’s football world.
