Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio is currently attracting a lot of interest from a couple of clubs this summer as reports continue to link him with a move away from the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium this summer. The Spain international attacker will reportedly not be an important part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad this season and it looks as though he has been told that he can leave the club. Under Zinedine Zidane last season, Asensio was given the chance to prove himself as a regular starter at the club but he was not a consistent player and kept getting in and out of the team as a result, generating reports that he may not be a Real Madrid player at the beginning of the new season.

Real Madrid have not signed any player this summer so far but are said to be strongly interested in snapping up Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé. The France international attacker is also a strong admirer of the Spanish La Liga giants and wants to seal a move to the Los Blancos in the near future and that explains why he has not yet signed a new contract at the Parc des Princes despite being offered a new contract extension up to two times.

Madrid are willing to make Mbappé their next galactico signing and are said to be patient and wait to sign him next summer if they are not able to do so in this summer’s transfer window. Paris Saint-Germain know that the forward will cost a relatively low fee or could even be for free next summer when his current contract will expire but the French giants are confident that they can agree a deal with the player before then.

If Madrid sign Mbappé, it could spell the end of Asensio’s stay at the Spanish club and he could then consider making a switch to Arsenal as a result.
